"Thanks for a wonderful visit! We appreciate the hospitality and attention to detail. As Innkeepers ourselves (in Scotland)we know the effort it takes to create such an inviting place."

"We had a great time at the Inn. Plan on returning and staying again. Thanks for a great experience"
"What a wonderful Inn. The room was very comfortable and clean. Loved the ceramic bathroom. No problem sharing with the guests across the hall. Breakfast was a treat. David is a gracious host. Will certainly stay here again."
"My husband and I and our 5 yr old son stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. We loved our entire stay! Our room and bathroom were clean, the room was very quiet at night, and the breakfast every morning boasted of a big and delicious selection of foods, from pastries, fruits, and even homemade quiche. David, the owner and host, was very friendly, gracious and helpful. He suggested many fun places for us to take our son, including a nearby playground. His restaurant suggestions were also great. We will definitely stay here again. **I'd like to add that this is one of the few B&B's that allow children. We have a typical high-energy 5 yr old son, and David was just as gracious and friendly with him as he was with us. In fact, our son loved chatting with him and sharing stories of our day with him. I felt like we were staying with family, not at an Inn!"
" recently spent 4 nights in the lovely B&B. I was in town for my reunion at Mary Baldwin College. Many of my classmates stayed at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel. When I met one of them at the hotel, it was big and cold compared to this cozy B&B that was in a good location for getting around town as well as to the college. David is a wonderful host. I found him both helpful and accomodating. Over the 5 days, I watched him handle the changing nature of his enironment with grace and ease. He was always available to offer a helfpul hand. I did wake up every morning to wonderful smells coming from the kitched below. The only reason that I rated this B&B a 4 rather than a 5 is due to the amount of steps that I needed to climb. I am recovering from knee surgery. But I realize that this is part of being in an historical house so my 4 rating is really a 4+. I will definitely stay in this B&B when returning to Staunton.

"I was one of the Mary Baldwin College alum attending our class reunion who also stayed at the B & B in April of this year (2012). Everything my classmate above says is true. My bedroom was on the third floor with full bath - adorable and comfortable and all amenities needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and fun as it was an opportunity to meet other guests. I highly recommend this Inn and will stay here again."
"The Olde Staunton Inn is a lovely balance of elegance and homey comfort. It is also well-located to everything in the town, parking is easy & breakfast is yummy!"

"We were attending a nephew's wedding in Staunton and, fortunately, stayed at The Olde Staunton Inn. Everything about the Inn was incredible: Our room was very large with a gorgeous view of the beautiful trees outside, the bathroom was very modern, and the breakfast was perfect every day! Dave, the Innkeeper could not have been more welcoming and was just delightful. He offered great suggestions for other places to eat and was so helpful with anything that we needed. We happened to be at the Inn the same weekend as the Mary Baldwin alumnae and it was so lovely to meet such a terrific group of women! We 'lucked' into the Inn this time, but we will definitely go back and I have told everyone I could about how perfect our stay was......."

"We spent three nights at the Inn while visiting sights and attending the Shakespeare theater. We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodations were very attractive and comfortable. The shared bath worked out well, no problems at all. Our host was friendly and informative and made us feel special. Breakfasts were delicious and a great way to start the day. "

"we have stayed at the Olde Staunton Inn several times - each time was great - "extensive continental breakfast" is VERY substantital - Inn is close to town - we walked everywhere - rooms are large and very comfortable - large front porch is always breezy - we are going back as are our friends who were with us on this trip - David is a great host. You will love your stay in Staunton and at The Olde Staunton Inn."
"One of the most comfortable, hospitable B&B's we have ever stayed at. The William Beverly room was excellent. But what made the visit so special was the host-David. It was like visiting a relative you could actually like. We highly recommend this place. Very convenient to the sites and shopping of old Staunton."

"We stayed at the Olde Staunton Inn for a full week in August 2012 during the Stuanton Music Festival. We were completely satisfied with our accommodations and especially enjoyed the delicious breakfasts prepared by our host, David. The Inn's location was within walking distance to all of the Music Festival's events and concerts."
"Just came back from a 3 night stay the weekend before Easter. Very much enjoyed our room and the great breakfasts Dave prepared. Very convenient location. Were able to leave our car and walk wherever we wanted to go. Will definitely come back."

"We spent 3 nights at the Olde Staunton Inn, in early April. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The furnishings were verging on luxurious. The innkeeper is very accommodating. My husband enjoyed an early, lovely continental breakfast before work, while I lounged much of the day away in our room. I highly recommend this inn and we plan return visits. Parking is easy, on the street out front, or free lot next door. Some stair climbing is involved, but it is well worth it."

"We stayed at the Olde Staunton Inn over a lovely spring weekend with our energetic 18 month old daughter, and very much enjoyed ourselves. David is a fabulous host, with many talents, including serving a delightful breakfast. The Inn was very accommodating for our daughter, wonderful conversationalist, and created a very relaxed and welcoming environment for his guests. We will definitely recommend Olde Staunton Inn, and look forward to returning.
